Dr. Jake Hawkins is a fellowship-trained joint replacement and revision surgeon who specializes in providing care for the hip and knee. He is highly skilled at performing a range of treatment options, including anterior total hip replacement, total joint replacement for the hip and knee, joint injections, minimally invasive surgery, knee arthroscopy, fracture fixation, robotic-assisted total joint replacement, and revision total joint replacement for the hip and knee.

Dedicated to providing his patients with exceptional orthopaedic care, Dr. Hawkins takes a team approach when treating his patients so that he can understand their goals and develop a treatment plan that meets their individual needs.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Dr. Hawkins attended the Florida State University College of Medicine for his Doctor of Medicine degree. After medical school, he pursued a residency in orthopaedic surgery at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Hawkins elected to undergo additional training in Gainesville, Florida, through an adult reconstruction fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine.

In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, fishing, exercising, going to the beach, boating, hunting, traveling, and spending time with his family.
