Interventional Pain Specialist Dr. David Johnson Joins Orthopaedic Associates

David P. Johnson, M.D., fellowship-trained interventional pain medicine specialist, is set to join Orthopaedic Associates on Oct. 1. Dr. Johnson is available to see patients at the practice’s offices in Fort Walton Beach, located at 1034 Mar Walt Drive, in Destin, located at 36474C Emerald Coast Parkway, Suite 3101, in Niceville, located at 554-D Twin Cities Blvd, and in Crestview, located at 5300 South Ferdon Blvd. Patients in need of specialized pain management care are encouraged to call 850-863-2153 to schedule an appointment.

Having undergone extensive training Dr. Johnson offers a broad range of pain management techniques for his patients. His skills have given him experience treating musculoskeletal pain, nerve pain, migraines and pain syndromes, such as fibromyalgia. His range of treatments includes the following:

Dr. Johnson received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia before completing his anesthesiology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania also in Philadelphia. Following his residency, Dr. Johnson underwent extensive specialty training by completing an interventional pain medicine fellowship at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
