Patient Notice:
In order to minimize the risk of exposure to our staff and patients, Orthopaedic Associates is asking patients who have traveled to any of the areas affected by COVID-19 (coronavirus) or who have come in contact with individuals who have recently arrived from these areas to call our office to reschedule your appointment. The CDC recommends a self-quarantine for a period of 14 days before visiting any public offices.
During the self-quarantine period:
- Call the local health department or hospital immediately for instructions on how to be evaluated. If you believe you require immediate medical attention, whether at the ER or your medical provider’s office, inform the medical staff in advance that you have recently returned from an affected area or may have been in contact with someone from an affected area.
- Avoid using public transportation if possible.
- Utilize proper hand and respiratory hygiene.
- After your 14-day quarantine and/or clearance from a medical professional, you may resume any scheduled appointments that you may have.
Orthopaedic Associates will continue to monitor health warnings from the CDC and the U.S. Department of State and will make adjustments to clinic schedules if necessary.
